he NEPA Elite 16U Wildfire proved this weekend that talent, teamwork, and heart can carry a team all the way to the top.
Competing at the Under Armour Irish Rumble Tournament, the Wildfire battled their way through the field and earned their spot in the championship match. From the first serve to the final point, this group never missed a beat — playing with confidence, grit, and the kind of chemistry that only comes from a team truly playing for each other.
What makes this championship even more special is where these athletes come from. The roster represents communities from across the region including Hazleton, Dallas, Montrose, Crestwood, Valley View, and Towanda. Different schools and different towns, but when they step on the court together they become one team proudly representing the strength of Northeast Pennsylvania volleyball.
Match after match, the Wildfire stayed composed under pressure, trusting their training and each other. Their hard work paid off as they walked off the court champions, bringing home the title and making their communities proud.

The NEPA Elite 16U Wildfire had an incredible showing this weekend at the AAU Irish Madness Invitational in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Out of 30 teams, Wildfire battled through tough competition to finish 2nd in pool play and ultimately 4th overall in the tournament.
These athletes showed grit, determination, and true team chemistry all weekend long. They competed point after point, fought through every match, and proved they belong among the top teams in the field.
Although they came up just short of the podium, they finished strong and represented NEPA with pride. The growth, resilience, and effort from this group continues to stand out every time they step on the court.

The 16U Wildfire had an incredible showing this weekend — finishing 2nd in pool play and earning a spot in the Gold Bracket against a strong field of competition. Out of 30 teams, these ladies fought their way to an impressive 5th place overall finish.
They left everything on the court, coming up just short in the semifinals by only 2 points, showing heart, resilience, and true Wildfire energy all day long. So proud of the way this group competed, supported each other, and represented NEPA Elite with pride. Great job, ladies! 💪💙
🔥🏐 16U Wildfire Top 3 Finish 🏐🔥
The 16U Wildfire took 3rd place in a 17U Valentine Classic—and they earned every bit of it. 💪🏽🏐
In the quarterfinals, this team was down by 9 and refused to quit. They fought back point by point, heart by heart, and won by 2 to punch their ticket to the semifinals. That’s grit. That’s belief. That’s team volleyball.
These girls played extremely well, but what stands out even more is the friendships they’re building, the great attitude on and off the court, and the way they played with their whole heart. You can see the trust, the energy, and the love they have for one another every time they step on the floor.

Our 16U Wildfire team had an incredible showing at the Northeast Winter Slam, coming home with a hard-earned 2nd place finish! From the very first serve, these athletes showed heart, grit, and determination, proving they belong among the top competitors in the region.
The team battled through tough matches all weekend, often facing very close sets that kept fans on the edge of their seats. With every point, the Wildfire girls demonstrated teamwork, focus, and a relentless desire to improve—never letting a setback shake their confidence.
Special shoutout to our players for their resilience and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Every spike, dig, and serve reflected their hard work in practice and their commitment to one another as a team.

This weekend, Wildfire dominated pool play, finishing 1st, and battled all the way to the Gold bracket finals, only dropping 2 sets by just a few points. The girls are really coming together, showing incredible teamwork, communication, and grit on the court.

Our 16U Wildfire came into the weekend blazing. They battled their way deep into bracket play and came just two points shy of punching their ticket to the finals.
Even though they fell just short, they’re heading home with a well-earned 3rd place finish—and a fire that’s only getting stronger. 🔥🏐

Riverfront Scranton
Our 15u Wildfire team recently competed in the Riverfront tournament, finishing 2nd in pool play. Despite narrowly missing out on first place by just 3 points, the team put on a strong performance throughout the tournament. The players displayed great teamwork, skill, and determination, showcasing their potential and talent on the court. Although the outcome was not what we had hoped for, we are incredibly proud of the effort and dedication shown by our athletes. The experience gained from this tournament will only serve to make our team stronger and more competitive in future competitions. Spooky Nook
Our 15u Wildfire team had an impressive showing at the Spooky Nook tournament, finishing 2nd in pool play and ultimately coming home with a 3rd place finish. The team played with determination and skill, showcasing their talent and teamwork on the court. It was a hard-fought tournament, but our players rose to the challenge and gave it their all.
